Responsibilities:
Design document, quality of work, the schedule, safety of the people and costs
Responsible for execution of all construction activity and take responsibility toward all scope of work under him
Carryout work allowed to him as per drawing designs & as per specification in a scheduled work period with all required checking regarding quality of any item of work with minimum wastage of material manpower and as per planned budget
Carry out detailed study of drawings from consultant. Carryout all work related documentation and maintaining safety at site
Go through the site conditions and verification of drawing before execution of work at site. Check out the quantity and quality of works according to the specifications mention for the project
Responsible to build the structures with respect to the soil conditions. Construction work should be done according to the detailed drawing & planning specified by consultant
Observing all the site plan sheet and work as it is, if there is requirement to create some change in site plan then discuss about that issue with Consulting Engineer
Ensure that the document in hand is the correct designed and issued for construction ,then he will supervise the construction to make sure that work is being carried out as designed and in accordance to standards
The engineer will also deal with geological hazards like landslides, soil erosion, soil stability
Assist in the development of temporary structures, earthworks and foundations suitable to the conditions of the site in consultation with the Consultant Engineer and Specialist Contractors
Meet with clients for evaluations of project progress. Budget and time constraints will be important factors in any discussion and the engineers will be expected to know and provide a variety of important information
Requirement:
Degree in civil engineering
At least 10 years relevant experience in deep excavation and basement construction for high rise buildingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
